General Information
The customer must inform me of any hidden services, ie Gas Pipes, Electricity Cables, Oil Pipes, Water Pipes, alarm cables or any other hidden services before commencement of works. I accept that you may not know the routes of these hidden/concealed services; however CJT Electrical or any of its staff members will not be liable for any damage or consequential loss however caused, of the service during or after installation.
CJT Electrical and its staff members are very careful with your property, but should redecoration be necessary then that would be the responsibility of the customer. This quotation has been prepared on the information available at the time of quoting the job. The quote has been carefully constructed with your future in mind. Any alterations to the properties structure or the information that is available at the time will make this quotation void and a new quotation would have to be drawn up.
The specification has been submitted on the basis that all cabling will be hidden where possible. This may mean floorboards have to be lifted, My team of workers can carry out this work but as you can appreciate I or my staff are not floor layers or carpet fitters. I/My team will endeavour to refit the floorboards and flooring back to its original positions, On occasions we may find that the carpet is too old to be fitted correctly or lifting any old flooring may make it none re-usable and on the strength of that the decision being left up to you with the way you want to proceed with the lifting of that particular flooring.
Cancellation of agreement;
Unless otherwise agreed in writing this quotation is valid for 30 days. After which time CJT Electrical reserve the right to make alterations to the quotation. If the work agreed upon is cancelled after 48 hrs prior to the confirmed job, Then we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee due to the allocated days now being lost due to this late cancellation.
After receiving a signed quotation agreement, CJT Electricalwill commence procedures to organise materials and allocate a start date for the work at the earliest convenience. Should the customer wish to cancel the work prior to commencement A cancellation cost of 10% of the total value of the work will be due immediately, payable to CJT Electrical
Ownership
You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified. All products are property of independent content providers. CJT Electrical remains the Owner of all Items installed until FULL payment has been received.
Warranty
All our products carry a standard 12 month Warranty, should any product fail within that time scale then that item will be replaced free of charge, but should any effect be found with the item (ie tampering etc) then this will be chargeable and notified to the customer before replacement work is carried out. (ie water damage due to the item being opened without our Authority
Intruder Alarms
Upon Acceptance, Takeover, Commissioning of the intruder alarm system a full system specification will be drawn up and provided with the installed intruder alarm. All new installed parts are guaranteed for 12 months from date of install, 24 Hours cover/backup to faults on the system is provided, and service agreements are available for a 12 monthly system check. The cost of the Yearly service is £45. This covers a 1 hour service visit by the engineer to test the system, check any batteries within the system and walk test and check over each detector and make sure full functionality is being achieved.
